You will not need a torch to see where you're going but you may need one to find chains that open doors, or stuff on the floor. I will post screenshots later, basically these settings are designed to give high contrast and high visibility in all situations while still looking good and atmospheric. These settings are based on Petes117 Realistic Lighting custom INI file I am not sure If I should upload the actual mod here. You do not need to register with Nexus to download a small mod like this, but if you cannot for any reason, let me know. Also added a few more screenshots.Hi all, the file attached at the end of this post contains the settings I am currently using for the excellent Realistic Lighting with Customization mod by Pluto - 747823 - Leviathan1753 - Sydney666 UPDATE: Updated the reshade so it no longer provides errors in loading the FXAA or Quint-lightroom shaders. Enter your game, hit the 'Home' button, do the tutorial or skip it, and from the drag down menu select "Grim Sky" "Sky Grim" or whatever I named it. Drag and Drop everything from my download (two ini's and the reshade-shaders folder) into your 'bin' folder, overwriting everything when necessary.ĥ. Install reshade, selecting the top two packs (Standard/Sweetfx) and the Legacy pack on the bottom ensure all shaders in these packs are selected in the next section.Ĥ. Go to and download the reshade installer.Ģ. Everyone's preferences are different - feel free to tweak however you see fit.ġ. MXAO will remove corner shadowing if it's too taxing, and Gaussian Blur can be adapted to your preference. Something to remember: if the gameplay appears too sharp/fuzzy, hit the 'Home' button and uncheck Adaptive Sharpening. I am still tweaking and optimizing the preset. This means the grass, ground, and weather edits come from Aggressor reshade, but the preset also looks good with regular in-game textures. Every screenshot you see (if I can figure out how to add them here,) is my reshade preset in conjunction with Escape from Pripyat. This is a reshade preset intended for use with Stalker Anomaly.
